RACE Innovation Lab
In January 2020, Pancare announced a strategic plan of transformative change aimed at elevating the Foundation to the next level of accelerated growth. Diversification and scale are now the principles Pancare lives by to continually evolve and modernise our operations. An innovation philosophy underpins these principles; expanding across all aspects of the Foundation’s programs from diversified revenue models, to technology-driven enhancements, through to sophisticated partnership models.
The philosophy behind RACE Innovation Lab places innovation as the epicentre of the Foundation. This philosophy extends throughout our programs and is embedded in our culture and values – representing a tireless mission to continually elevate to greater heights in all that we do for the cause.
Pancare has adopted an open innovation approach supported by Human Centred Design (HCD) principles, which places the person at the centre of everything. By focusing on people, Pancare hopes to produce ideas that are sustainable and scalable that meet genuine needs. It is not an approach for iterative improvement of current processes and procedures; but rather a way to take what we know about today and imagine a different future. This approach includes a three-phased methodology of Discovery, Design and Delivery.
Our panel of key global experts on the importance of innovation
“Viewing innovation through an empathic lens, will always guide an organisation to deliver the most powerful customer outcomes and embed intrinsic meaning to its people.”
Former CEO, Vodafone Innovation | Non-Executive Director Board Member
“Innovation is like Darwin’s theory of adaptation – businesses must constantly adapt to the changing needs of customers and society to stay relevant, fresh and efficient. A business that does not adapt through innovation will not survive the test of time, nor be doing its best for its customers and staff.”
Group Innovation Director, Direct Wines
“Technology and an overabundance of information has made gaining people’s attention and engagement challenging. It is increasingly more difficult to achieve ‘cut through’ for important causes. To increase awareness Pancare needs to do things differently, which is what this program is all about.”
CEO, Grow Business Group
“Innovation is learning to look past your preconceptions to really understand what is causing friction to the customer (current or potential). This is your clue for where and how to innovate.”
Solutions Builder, Ikigai Partners
“Innovation comes from creativity and I believe more businesses need to embrace creativity as a powerful tool to solve challenges and improve people’s lives.”
Executive Creative Director, Havas
“To be successful innovation requires different perspectives when solving business problems. Pancare has a great reputation and passionate team. This has attracted a broad range of people, willing to provide diversity of thought, experience and creativity to support the program.”
