This session is designed to give you information about Wills and Powers of Attorney, how they work and what happens if you don’t have them. It will also address common questions and misconceptions as well as touching on related topics such as probate and challenges to Wills.
Laura Evans-McKendry is a lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s national Wills and Estates practice, based in Melbourne.
She was admitted to practice in 2010 and started her career in general practice in a regional and rural community on the border of NSW. Since returning to Melbourne she has applied the broad experience she obtained in general practice to the interesting and complex area of Wills and Estates, including estate planning, probate and estate litigation.
Laura holds Bachelor degrees in Arts and Law, and is currently completing a Masters in Law majoring in Estate Planning and Wills and Estates.
