There is strong evidence to support participating in regular exercise for the management and treatment of those living with cancer. Regular exercise during and following treatment for cancer has a multitude of benefits including, boosting physical and emotional health, wellbeing, and improving overall quality of life. Exercise can also assist in managing the side effects of cancer treatment such as pain, fatigue, and loss in muscle mass and bone density.
PACE Health Management are leaders in exercise physiology and are at the forefront of providing their clients with up to date research as it relates to exercise. We have worked extensively with individuals living with cancer; providing education sessions in hospital settings to the implementation of exercise programs.
Sara Woodroffe from PACE Health Management will be the host of this support group.
