Community Consulting Submissions Close 30th November – National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap

November 30 @ 5:00 pm

Community Consultation

It’s time to have your say.

Community consultation on the development of the National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap closing 30th November, 2020.

How to have your say

To share your experience and have your say on the development of the Roadmap, you can either respond to the online survey or upload a written submission via the consultation hub.

Feedback is welcomed by all members of the pancreatic cancer community – including those living with pancreatic cancer, families and carers – in addition to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people from all geographic locations, age group, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

To assist you submitting your response, Cancer Australia have put together a list of questions to consider, covering all aspects of the cancer journey.

  • What do you think are the most important issues to be addressed in pancreatic cancer in Australia? Think about all aspects of the cancer pathway including prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, supportive and palliative care for people with pancreatic cancer, their families and carers.
  • What do you think could make the biggest difference to improving outcomes for people with pancreatic cancer in Australia?
  • Are there unique or special challenges and considerations for specific population groups with pancreatic cancer?
  • What do you think are the main challenges and opportunities in the clinical care of pancreatic cancer in Australia?
  • What do you think are the main challenges and opportunities for research into pancreatic cancer (including basic research and clinical trials)?
  • Do you have any other comments and / or insights from your own experience with pancreatic cancer that you think would be helpful to inform the roadmap?

Submissions are open from 1 September 2020 and close on 30 November 2020.
