Run for Richard – Fundraising in memory of Richard Williams OAM
Richard Williams OAM is remembered for the infectious positive nature that he bought to everyone he was involved in. As an accomplished businessman Richard used his many friends and business contacts to leverage every opportunity possible to raise millions of dollars for a number of causes and charities. Richard died in Melbourne on the 11th August 2015 from pancreatic cancer after a brave and long fight with this devastating disease.
Richard was a keen marathon runner and at 10.30am on Sunday 24th July a team of runners and walkers will ‘Run for Richard’ at Run Melbourne, completing 5km. All monies raised will be divided equally between Richard’s three favourite charities:
– Life Education Victoria
– Pied Pipers for the Royal Children’s Hospital
– Pancare Foundation
Please Note: Life Education are kindly administering the fund – donations are collected by Life Education and shared equally with Pied Pipers and Pancare Foundation.
All donations over $100 are entered into a free prize draw to win a one week stay at luxury villa in Bali for up to 10 people*.
