Pancreatic Cancer Patient Support Groups Now Online
In response to COVID-19 restrictions, we have taken our Patient Support Groups online to ensure that we are still able to provide support to our community.
Pancreatic Cancer Patient Online Support Groups
Each month we run two online support groups.
The first support group held each month will be a peer to peer session which provides a caring, an open forum where you can share your experiences with other patients and carers. These groups are suitable for people just diagnosed, going through, or post treatment for pancreatic cancer.
The second support group held each month will include a presenter speaking about a specific, relevant topic, such as survivorship, diet and nutrition, living with cancer during COVID-19.
Thursday 20th August 11am – 12.30pm (AEST)
Our guest speaker this session will be Garvan Institute Clinical Research Coordinator, Tanya Dwarte. Tanya will be talking about the Pancreatic Cancer Familial Screening Program that is being rolled out across Australia – she will be discussing the program, process and follow up.
To RSVP and to receive meeting login details please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 18th July.
During September we will be holding our Living with Pancreatic Cancer Support Series which will replace our Online Pancreatic Cancer Patient Support Groups. More information to follow.
