Am I at risk of cancer?

Cancer develops when something goes wrong with the body’s normal cell growth. While we don’t know the exact cause of most cancers, research has shown that certain factors can increase your chance of developing cancer. These are called risk factors.

Some risk factors, like age or family history, cannot be changed. Others, like smoking or diet, can be modified to help lower your risk.

Understanding your risk factors and being aware of potential warning signs can help you make informed decisions about your health. Early detection and timely medical advice can make a real difference.
