On December 17, twelve lucky ladies sat down to lunch at Morris Jones Restaurant & Bar, Melbourne to dine with the boys from the Bachelorette.
Spearheaded by Lee Elliott, the winner of this year’s reality TV show, The Bachelorette the idea was to hold an online auction for members of the public to bid on 12 seats for an exclusive luncheon with the boys, with all funds raised donated to Pancare.
Pancare Ambassador and Lee’s partner, Georgia Love, lost her mother in October 2016 after a 6 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
‘Tragically Georgia lost her mother 24 hours after the [show’s] finale,’ Lee explained. ‘We’re in this position now where we can actually make a difference and do some good.’
$10,000 was raised from the day by the generous bids from our 12 guests, along with a lot of new friendships with our winner bidders and the Bachelorette contestants.
Pancare wishes to thank all involved, including sponsors, Asahi, Moet Hennessy, Diageo, Endless Cider, Morris Jones Restaurant & Bar as well as Lee Elliott and Georgia Love and all the Bachelorette boys who attended.
