Meet Haylee

Haylee is deeply connected to cancer nursing, inspired by her family’s experience with upper gastrointestinal cancer. She has worked across chemotherapy day units and stem cell collection before moving into cancer support nursing.

“When I support a person, I hope they leave the conversation feeling like they got what they needed, whether that’s information, clarification, support, or help navigating the healthcare system. I hope the people I support feel comfortable asking questions and know they don’t have to work everything out on their own.”

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Pancare team?

“The people I support matter to me. I get to know my patients, carers, and their families, hear their stories, and work out how I can best support them.”

What’s your favourite way to spend time or unwind outside of work?

“Outside of work, I like spending time with my family, who are a big part of my life. I also enjoy walking my sausage dog, Stanley, and making the most of good weather by visiting the beach or spending time in the sun.”
