Sue has worked 30 years as a cancer nurse, caring for patients in cancer centres across Australia and internationally.
“I want people to feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. It’s important they leave feeling less alone and more confident about their next steps. Above all, I hope they feel reassured that someone is walking alongside them.”
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Pancare team?
“I value being part of a purpose‑driven team supporting people affected by upper GI cancer. The compassion, collaboration, and shared commitment make the work meaningful, especially knowing it impacts people during some of their hardest moments.”
What’s your favourite way to spend time or unwind outside of work?
“I love spending quality time with my three children and partner. Yoga and bushwalking help me relax and recharge, and I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places.”
